    Sorry that we are not doing anything this year

    I broke my promise in making your day sheer

    You know the reason for this year to be different

    But will eventually catch up and make it significant

    For this year, I want to thank you

    For joining me in my service

    For always being there 

    For always being you

    You’ve always been there for our kids

    Protective and directive to them

    To be good and kind people

    That we know the world could benefit from

    You’ve always been there for me

    Bringing me water and hand towel

    To wipe away my sweat

    While I strum my guitar away

    You’ve always been my strength

    For in you I always find the energy

    To keep moving even the day is burning

    To keep playing even when it is tiring

    And that is why I feel guilty

    For missing this day of yours

    But we’ll recover for sure

    Who know? Could be Singapore?

    I think I got the greatest gift the day you were born

    God already created you to be my companion

    So He could direct my life through you

    He made you first, directed me next

    So your birthday is really special to me

    Because without you, I am nothing

    You gave me the reason, the purpose and the strength

    To live my life as He wanted me to live

    Even if you are tired

    Even if your eyes are weary

    Even if you feel like sleeping

    You always take care of us

    Even if it means not doing what you want

    Even if it means missing out on sale

    Even if it means sitting uncomfortably

    You always give for us

    And for this I want to say sorry

    Sorry for just thinking of me

    Sorry for just focusing on my feelings

    Sorry for hurting you

    By my actions

    By my words

    By my facial reactions

    By my thinking

    By my beliefs

    By my opinions

    I thought I was the one giving more

    I thought that I was the one getting tired

    I thought that I deserve more

    I thought that I need to be taken care of

    But you are already doing that

    Giving me more

    Giving me rest

    Giving me more than I deserve

    Giving me space

    Giving me time

    Giving me so much more

    I’m sorry if I am too blind to see

    The things you have done for me

    And only thought of what I bring

    For you and for our family

    Cant promise anything

    But I’ll do what I must

    To make you feel my everything

    I am what I am because of you.

    I am able to do things because you.

    I am able to play guitar.

    I am able to write my blogs.

    I am able to workout.

    I am able to work peacefully.

    All because of you.

    You give me the time I need.

    You give me the space that I need.

    You give me the peace that I need.

    You give me more than I need.

    For the days that I am harsh,

    For the moments I am weird,

    For the moments I am in the dark,

    For the times that I seem not to care,

    You are there

    Patiently

    Crying

    Still loving

    And waiting

    And understanding

    That it is who you are

    That I sometimes take you for granted

    That it is I who is at fault

    And I never apologize to you

    That I am usually hurting you

    I am never good with words

    To make it come out as sound

    But know that in my heart

    I know I hurt you

    I want us to grow old together

    Travel the world and all

    Do something helpful

    To those in need of our hands

    Age is just a number

    I know together we will stay strong

    Until our last breath

    I will be with you till the end

    And so forgive me for everything

    Small and large and in betweens

    I am at fault for those tears

    I’ll do my best, the rest of our years
